Happy Day 2025: Celebrating the BIDV Spirit Through Sports
This is an annual sports event to maintain the physical training movement and improve the spiritual life of TSC BIDV union members and employees.
On September 28, 2025, at Cau Giay Stadium - Hanoi, in a bustling and exciting atmosphere, the HO Happy Day 2025 Sports Festival took place with the participation of more than 600 athletes and supporters from 43 grassroots unions under BIDV Headquarters.
This is an annual sports event of special importance, aiming to maintain the physical training movement, improve the spiritual life of union members and workers, and at the same time create a vibrant competitive atmosphere, determined to excellently complete tasks and business plans in 2025.
From early morning, the sports area became a real festival with many colors from different competition groups. Flags, colorful banners and cheering voices of cheering teams heated up the atmosphere from the first minutes. The athletes also warmed up with an enthusiastic spirit, determined to conquer high achievements to bring HO Happy Day a dramatic and attractive sports season.
Within the framework of the program, Vice Chairman of BIDV Trade Union Nguyen Duc Nghi represented BIDV Trade Union to donate 400 million VND to support the Trade Union in the Headquarters area. This is not only an affirmation of BIDV Trade Union's care and support for employees, but also a great motivation to help the sports movement at the Headquarters develop more and more, contributing to the formation of a healthy, dynamic and cohesive working environment.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the athletes entered the competition in 5 sports: men's football, badminton, table tennis, pickleball and tug of war. Each match demonstrated a noble sportsmanship, the high determination of each athlete and the collective strength of the competing teams. That strength seemed to be further ignited when in the stands, hundreds of enthusiastic fans cheered, encouraged, and motivated the athletes, turning the sports festival into a true festival of solidarity.
After a period of exciting competition, the HO Happy Day 2025 Sports Festival ended with impressive achievements. Team 7 - Risk Management, Appraisal and Approval Block won the First Prize with 6 Gold Medals, 5 Silver Medals and 5 Bronze Medals. Team 1 - Information Technology & Digital Banking Block won the Second Prize with 3 Gold Medals, 4 Silver Medals and 5 Bronze Medals. Team 3 - Retail Block won the Third Prize with 3 Gold Medals, 3 Silver Medals and 5 Bronze Medals. These results are not only a worthy reward for the athletes' tireless efforts, but also a testament to the training spirit, perseverance and solidarity of all staff.
HO Happy Day 2025 has ended but the echoes will certainly continue to spread. The tight handshakes, the bright smiles after each match, the drops of sweat soaked on the competition floor,... have created a vivid picture of BIDV's spirit: determination, perseverance, solidarity, becoming a cultural beauty, contributing to creating a professional and cohesive working environment at BIDV.
