BIDV Officer Named Outstanding Exemplary Role Model
On the morning of October 26, 2025, at the Vietnam - Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace (Hanoi), the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor held the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress. At the Congress, Ms. Do Thi Thanh Huyen - Director of BIDV Corporate Customer Management Board - was honored as Outstanding Exemplary Role Model.
This is a great festival of the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union, an opportunity to honor outstanding groups and individuals, and spread the spirit of creativity and responsibility in work.
Attending the Congress were comrade Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; leaders of departments, ministries, branches and 400 outstanding delegates, representing typical and outstanding collectives and individuals, typical examples in the patriotic emulation movements of the Trade Union organization in the period of 2025 - 2030.
Speaking at the Congress, comrade Do Van Chien acknowledged the pioneering role of workers, civil servants and laborers in innovation, digital transformation and improving labor productivity; at the same time, he requested that trade unions at all levels continue to innovate, arouse the desire to contribute, and contribute to bringing the country into a new stage of development.
At the Congress, 80 outstanding and advanced models were honored, including 37 groups and 43 individuals. With outstanding results in work and patriotic emulation activities, Ms. Do Thi Thanh Huyen - Director of BIDV Corporate Customer Management Board - is the only union member of the Banking Industry to be honored at the Congress.

During more than 25 years of working at BIDV, Ms. Do Thi Thanh Huyen has always strived to innovate and create to improve the quality and efficiency of her work. She is the author and co-author of many breakthrough technological initiatives, typically: the solution "Online deposits for institutional customers" honored at the Program "1 million initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to win the Covid-19 pandemic"; the initiative "Developing the BIDV Open API open banking system" opens a new direction for the open banking model in Vietnam; developing BIDV Direct digital bank creates a turning point in operations and enhances the digital banking experience for institutional customers; with systems such as BIDV SCF (supply chain finance) and BIDV TradeFlat (full-process digital ecosystem for import-export enterprises), helping to perfect the digital ecosystem for enterprises... She also made efforts to promote green finance development through products, policies, and action programs, contributing to affirming BIDV's pioneering position in the field of green banking and ESG in Vietnam... Her outstanding contributions have been recognized with many awards such as: Certificate of Creative Labor from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Certificate of Merit from the Governor of the State Bank, many consecutive years of achieving the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level and Advanced Labor...
This achievement of Ms. Do Thi Thanh Huyen is a worthy reward for her personal efforts; at the same time, it contributes to affirming the role of BIDV Trade Union in effectively implementing patriotic emulation movements, discovering and fostering advanced models, building a team of BIDV employees who are professional, creative and always strive to achieve good values.
