The first days of taking on the new position were also the time when the branch faced many challenges. But with the belief in the power of solidarity, she and the branch staff determined a new direction, which was to strongly develop the customer base, focus on digital transformation and improve service quality.

After more than three years, BIDV Lam Son has recorded many significant steps forward: By September 30, 2025, the scale of operations reached 12,700 billion VND, profit in 2024 increased by more than 20%, the branch was listed in the top 10 typical units in terms of net increase in pre-tax profit. The average income of staff increased steadily over the years, in 2024, the average income of staff reached 40.3 million VND/month, always in the Top branches with high income in the North Central region.

Behind those numbers is the effort of the whole team - but also the mark of a leader who knows how to put trust in the right place and inspire team spirit. She often says: "The most valuable thing in a team is not who is better than anyone else, but who is willing to work together."

If I had to choose one word to describe Ms. Nga’s working style, it would probably be “flexible”. She does not set far-fetched goals but always starts with specific, practical things. From rearranging the trading space to be more friendly, to improving internal processes to be more streamlined - every change brings about clear results.

With the mindset of looking for opportunities, she has guided the branch to step out of its comfort zone to explore new potential business areas, strongly develop its retail customer base, and strive to always find opportunities to develop FDI customers.
