16 years of dedication - a complete youth for BIDV

Joining BIDV in 2009 when she was just 24 years old, Quynh Anh soon determined that this was not only a place to work but also an environment for training, growth and long-term commitment. Over the past 16 years, she has experienced many positions in the corporate customer sector - a field that always requires dynamism, precision and high pressure. However, she always exudes calmness, patience and responsibility. 16 years - not a long journey, but enough to turn a young employee into an experienced officer, mature in both expertise and sense of responsibility to the organization.

Remembering the days when she officially started her job as a Customer Management Officer of the Corporate Customer Department, Ms. Quynh Anh faced many difficulties and pressures. She herself had to make great efforts, spending all her time on weekends and overtime to improve her knowledge and skills, and complete her work on schedule. Besides, with the patient guidance of her colleagues in the department, her work improved every day. Her professional success was one part, what made her loved by her colleagues the most was her sincerity, listening and sharing - qualities that became the "key" that brought her to union work as a meaningful opportunity.

Coming to the union from a "fate", attached by "heart"

Not everyone starts working in the trade union with great aspirations. For Ms. Quynh Anh, it was a chance. The first time she was nominated to join the Executive Committee of the BIDV Dak Lak Trade Union for the 2015-2017 term, she was still confused. But it was the trust of the collective that urged her to constantly learn, improve and devote herself to the work that seemed "outside her expertise" but brought her much joy, motivation and special connection with her colleagues.

“The union helps me understand better the simple but practical things that workers need most: care, sharing and space for them to feel listened to and protected,” she confided.

As a member of the Executive Committee of BIDV Dak Lak Trade Union, Ms. Quynh Anh is not afraid to take risks and is always ready to take on difficult and arduous tasks. She plays the role of connecting and promptly communicating policies and guidelines from the higher-level Trade Union to the workers, while proactively listening, synthesizing and proposing legitimate recommendations from union members and workers for the leadership to promptly handle.

With her active participation, BIDV Dak Lak Trade Union not only effectively maintains traditional activities but also continuously innovates organizational methods to suit trends and practical needs. She is a key member, in charge of building and implementing the unit's annual Social Security programs, making the spirit of "mutual love and mutual assistance" a cultural beauty in BIDV Dak Lak. In the past 5 years (2020-2024), she has directly and indirectly supported 83 Social Security programs in Dak Lak province with a total budget of nearly 1.3 billion VND through outstanding social security programs such as: giving gifts on the occasion of Lunar New Year to poor people in districts, communes, twinned villages, twinned border posts; visiting and taking care of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, retired BIDV officers who are war invalids on the occasion of Lunar New Year and July 27; building 01 house of gratitude for poor households; supporting the donation of medical masks and Covid-19 test kits to hospitals; giving scholarships to poor students who have overcome difficulties to study well through schools on the occasion of the end of the school year; supporting the families of victims of the Cu Kuin incident, supporting the families of police officers who sacrificed and were injured in the Cu Kuin incident; visiting and giving gifts to patients with thalassemia at the Central Highlands Regional Hospital,... with difficult circumstances in the area, showing the hearts of BIDV staff to the community through practical, timely actions and activities that have had a great influence. Through the trips, the volunteer hearts have experienced the reality of difficult circumstances, miserable lives, and she herself has had more opportunities to learn many ways to appreciate and love this life more. "Love is giving without expecting anything in return" . Every trip to remote areas, to difficult circumstances is a journey to sow seeds of love that she is the one who silently cultivates.

Not only stopping at the representative work, she also directly participates in building and implementing many meaningful programs: from organizing periodic health check-ups, sightseeing and vacation programs, visiting and encouraging union members and their families when they are sick, ... to designing internal bonding activities such as "Connecting love", annual teambuilding activities.

She was the one who initiated the organization of the program to celebrate International Women's Day 8/3 of BIDV Dak Lak, the event has become an annual meeting place with the participation of all union members and workers, including contract employees, where brothers and sisters have the opportunity to exchange through art performances, teams are randomly selected at the exchange night, thereby strengthening internal solidarity. It is through such activities that human values and corporate culture are nurtured and spread persistently in each member.

In the eyes of her colleagues, Quynh Anh is a silent “fire keeper” - someone who doesn’t need to talk much but always does a lot. She understands that what keeps and connects employees is not only treatment but also a cohesive environment - where they feel like they are part of the collective.

Being a member of the team that won first prize in the BIDV Credit Competition in the Central Highlands and South Central region, then won the special prize in the final round of the BIDV Credit Competition in 2016; being a member of the team that won silver prize in the Performance to celebrate the 60th anniversary of BIDV's tradition in Hanoi in 2017, being a member of the team that won third prize in the Risk Control Culture Competition in the Central Highlands and South Central region.

Skillfully balance work, life and group activities

Carrying on her shoulders many roles: a dedicated bank officer, an active union member and a mother and wife in her small family - Ms. Quynh Anh still maintains balance and joy in everything she does. Her secret is simply love and arrangement.

Without being noisy or ostentatious, Ms. Doan Truc Quynh Anh is like a silent flower in the middle of the forest - spreading fragrance with kindness and responsibility. Her contributions are a living proof of the role of women in modern trade unions - where gentleness goes hand in hand with courage, where enthusiasm is nurtured by love for the profession and humanity.

Ms. Quynh Anh is not brilliant, but her dedication, heart and heart always towards the workers have made her a warm flame among BIDV Dak Lak. Her 16-year journey is not only a milestone of time but also a beautiful mark of camaraderie, responsibility to the organization and the desire to build a warm and affectionate union home.

BIDV Dak Lak is proud to have people like her - simple yet persistent keepers of the fire, who are day and night lighting up the faith in every worker.
