BIDV summarizes training activities to honor outstanding lecturers

On November 18, 2025, BIDV held a conference to summarize training activities for the period 2021 - 2025 and honor BIDV lecturers in 2025.

Opening the conference, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Quang - Director of BIDV Staff Training School presented a summary report on BIDV's training activities in the period of 2021 - 2025 and orientations and solutions for the period of 2026 - 2030. The report clarified important contents: Overview of training situation in the period of 2021 - 2025, training quality and effectiveness, training structure, comprehensive impact of training activities, evaluation of training activities in the past time.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Quang emphasized: “ With the orientation, motivation and support of the Board of Directors, the continuous efforts in spreading knowledge of BIDV lecturers, the coordination of units in the system, BIDV Training School has been carrying out the noble mission of developing BIDV's human resources. In the coming period, with the goal of becoming a learning organization, we will continue to innovate, modernize and make training the driving force for breakthroughs.”

On behalf of the Board of Directors, BIDV General Director Le Ngoc Lam acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of training work in the past time, and at the same time expressed gratitude for the great efforts and contributions of the part-time and full-time lecturers across the system. Thereby, the General Director also set a goal for the Human Resources Management Division to strive to become the leading human resource training and development center in the Vietnamese banking industry and emphasized the important task in the coming time is to build a training program, create a team of human resources to meet the development needs in the coming period, with a mindset of technology, innovation, understanding of ESG;..., at the same time continue to improve the quality, develop the team of lecturers - the key team in training work at BIDV, an important factor contributing to improving the quality of human resources of the system.

As a representative of outstanding lecturers, Mr. Tran Cong Danh - Head of Retail Customer Department, gave a passionate speech, he said: "Knowledge - experience is an endless asset, can be given without being lost. There is nothing better to learn and remember than to bring what you have learned, guide and convey to others, and there is no better training environment than the reality and experience of each person".

In his concluding remarks, Chairman of the Board of Directors Phan Duc Tu congratulated and thanked the lecturers, and at the same time suggested the mission of training in the coming time. Chairman of the Board of Directors Phan Duc Tu emphasized: Entering a new era of development, in response to the requirements of BIDV's Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045 of "Building BIDV into a leading LARGE - STRONG - GREEN Financial - Banking Group in Southeast Asia", BIDV's Board of Directors hopes and believes that the lecturers and staff of BIDV Training School will continue to fulfill their mission of "Creating knowledge - Developing capacity - Fostering BIDV culture".

Chairman of the Board of Directors Phan Duc Tu also set out 7 major orientations for training work in the coming time:

(i) Continue to innovate training thinking, taking learners as the center, aiming at application capacity;

(ii) Expand the scope of training subjects, link training results with business practices and BIDV's development strategy;

(iii) Pioneering in innovating learning models, modernizing methods, and applying digital technology;

(iv) Develop a team of experienced and enthusiastic lecturers, expand cooperation with domestic and foreign training institutions, experts, scientists, etc. to improve training quality;

(v) Establish a mechanism to build and practice a culture of innovation, creativity, and spread lifelong learning;

(vi) Building spacious facilities and modern teaching equipment to meet modern needs in the new period;

(vii) Strengthen internal management, perfect the organizational structure, develop and implement effective teaching and staff plans, create conditions and improve the professional development level of the training school's staff.

The strategic directions, gratitude and expectations of BIDV's Board of Directors at the conference have further motivated the team of lecturers and training staff in the new journey. With the spirit of innovation, creativity and the mission of spreading knowledge, lecturers at BIDV will continue to maintain the passion of the profession, foster BIDV's values and accompany the development of the system. This is the foundation for BIDV to confidently enter the breakthrough phase, realizing the goal of becoming a leading Large - Strong - Green Financial - Banking Group in the region in the coming years.
