Donating Sin Chai classroom building, nurturing green dreams

Sin Chai is a remote, mountainous school of Trinh Tuong Kindergarten, which was severely affected by the historic storm Yagi. With the desire to support the local people, teachers and students to have a spacious and solid building so that they can teach and study with peace of mind, union members and employees of BIDV units including the Headquarters area, Yen Bai and Lao Cai branches... joined hands to contribute to the construction of the new Sin Chai school. The total cost of the project is 1.56 billion VND, of which BIDV supports 1 billion VND and the local budget contributes 560 million VND.

With the wholehearted support and affection of BIDV's union members, the project after completion has a new, spacious appearance, including a 1-storey house with 2 solid classrooms, meeting the standards of area and lighting; 1 warehouse for storing utensils, tables and chairs, new and synchronous equipment; 1 kitchen with enough conditions to organize semi-boarding meals for children; 1 office room for teachers; toilets. More than 30 students of the H'Mong, Ha Nhi, Dao, Giay ethnic groups and teachers from now on can rest assured and excited to study, teach and live at the new school that meets the standards. The project after completion will be a place for studying and living semi-boarding for teachers and more than 30 students of Trinh Tuong commune. As a school in a remote area, in addition to sponsoring the construction of teaching and learning facilities, BIDV units have also donated a playground to create more excitement and love for going to school for students of ethnic groups, creating conditions for them to participate in outdoor activities, and develop comprehensively both physically and intellectually. On this occasion, BIDV also donated teachers and students of the school many necessary items such as warm blankets, carpets, water heaters, etc.
