BIDV's love and journey through storms and floods
The historic storm and flood that swept through the Central region at the end of 2025 took away many achievements, warmth and livelihoods of the people. Amidst the chaos after the storm and flood, BIDV's humanity was once again lit up.
Despite the isolated terrain, BIDV-branded trucks still lined up to the flood-prone areas, carrying tens of billions of dong and the warmth of love to share the burden with the people. Despite the isolated terrain, BIDV-branded trucks still lined up to the flood-prone areas, carrying tens of billions of dong and the warmth of love to share the burden with the people.
On November 26 and 27, 2025, the BIDV working delegation led by Chairman of the Board of Directors Phan Duc Tu traveled to the most severely damaged areas in Gia Lai, Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa.
Here, a support package worth 20 billion VND was given immediately, to help the local government and people rebuild their lives. Sharing at the flood center, the head of BIDV affirmed that supporting the people is not simply a charity activity, but a social responsibility associated with the bank's mission of sustainable development: "I hope people will have more support to firmly overcome this difficult period."

Despite the geographical distance, BIDV's sentiments remain intact and timely. Typically, BIDV Lam Son, the branch coordinated to hand out 300 life jackets, helping people to be safer in the floodwaters. Drinking water and essential necessities such as instant noodles and bread helped the people. Total support value of 40 million VND

At the southern end, BIDV Long An also quickly donated 100 million VND through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province to support the people.

Particularly touching was the journey of BIDV Tan Binh. The truck loaded with love, including 1.7 tons of rice, a series of essential necessities and 300 million VND in cash, traveled a long way to reach the most severely damaged areas in Phu Yen, promptly alleviating the loss of the people there.

Not standing outside the game, branches such as BIDV Phu Nhuan and BIDV Phu Xuan (Hue) have created a vibrant atmosphere of sharing and competition through internal campaigns such as "Join hands to overcome floods" or "Connecting love". Each day's salary and each small gift are collected, cherished, and wrapped with love by staff to send to the storm-hit areas.

Faced with the complicated developments of the storm and flood, BIDV's Board of Directors immediately deployed emergency response plans following the '4 on-site' motto. Right in the areas directly affected, the spirit of mutual love of BIDV people became even more intense. BIDV Ban Me and BIDV Nam Gia Lai staff did not fear danger, separation by rain and flood, directly transported trucks full of clothes and blankets to Xuan Phuoc commune (Dak Lak) and low-lying areas in the East of the province.

At the same time, BIDV Binh Dinh has allocated a large amount of resources up to 500 million VND to support people in neighboring communes and wards in Gia Lai and Binh Dinh provinces, helping them have more funds to repair their houses and stabilize their lives after storm No. 13.

The journey to the Central region in the last days of 2025 is not only a relief activity, but also a command from the heart of each child under the common roof of BIDV. Amidst countless difficulties, the green shirts of BIDV staff still shine, becoming a symbol of trust and companionship. Without noise or ostentation, BIDV's vehicles carrying heavy love still quietly roll to the most remote places. The tight handshakes and sparkling eyes of hope of the people in the flooded areas are the most precious gifts for the tireless efforts of the staff.
