BIDV firmly accompanies people to overcome natural disasters and floods

Towards our compatriots and colleagues in the flood-affected areas, BIDV has simultaneously deployed a series of comprehensive support solutions: Emergency relief - Housing reconstruction - Internal sharing

The journey started from the most severely damaged hotspots. On the morning of November 30, when the floodwaters had just receded in Krong Bong commune (Dak Lak), which suffered an estimated loss of more than 121 billion VND with hundreds of houses flooded, BIDV Dak Lak's volunteer team arrived promptly. The gifts of rice, necessities and cash handed directly to the people not only had material value but also were the most practical encouragement in times of hardship.

Sharing the same beat towards the people, at the Headquarters, the Data & Analysis Center (D&A) Union also quickly launched a donation campaign. The clothes, books and 30 million VND sent to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee are proof that wherever they are, BIDV people's hearts always beat to share.

Not only spreading love to the community, that warm fire also warms the "family members". Understanding the losses of colleagues, on December 4, BIDV Transaction Office 2 Branch organized an emotional meeting to give gifts to 13 union members whose families were affected by storms and floods. The spirit of "Everyone for one" was concretized with gifts worth from 2 to 5 million VND, becoming a solid spiritual support to help officers and employees feel secure in their work and soon stabilize their lives.

Closing the series of charity journeys last week was an explosion of joy in the land of nine dragons. On the morning of December 6, BIDV Ben Tre brought a gift to Mr. Nguyen Van Nha's family (Vinh Long) when they coordinated to hand over a spacious solidarity house. From a near-poor household with housing difficulties, his family now has a solid place to live with a total construction cost of 81 million VND, of which BIDV Ben Tre sponsored 70 million VND. The new house not only protects from the rain and sun but also opens up a brighter future, giving the family more motivation to rise out of poverty.
