Link your BIDV account on VNeID to receive a Tet gift of 400,000 VND from the Party and State

To celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party and the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo in 2026, the Government issued Resolution No. 418/NQ-CP on December 28, 2025, on the gift of 400,000 VND per gift to those who have contributed to the revolution, social welfare beneficiaries, and social pensioners as defined by the Government, including orphans, the homeless, or those being cared for at social welfare facilities.

According to the Resolution, the payment of Tet gifts will be prioritized through the integrated social security account on the VNeID application, ensuring a quick, transparent, and convenient payment process for citizens.

To promptly implement the directives of the Politburo and the Prime Minister, BIDV Bank guides citizens to link their bank accounts under the "Social Security" section to immediately receive the gratitude gift with three simple steps as follows:

Step 1: Log in to the VNeID app, select "Social Security Account" under the "Social Security" section.

Step 2: Select BIDV Bank.

Step 3: Enter your BIDV account number (click "Agree to share data"), then click "Continue." (Enter your 9-digit ID number if previously registered)

Submit the request successfully -> wait for confirmation from VNeID.

In particular, in addition to the above 400,000 VND, citizens who do not yet have a bank account will receive a cash gift and vouchers worth up to 230,000 VND from BIDV when opening a BIDV account on the SmartBanking app to link to their Social Security Account, while also experiencing the multi-utility digital ecosystem.
