"Spring Gratitude - Tet Affection" at the Center for the Care and Nursing of People with Meritorious Service
On January 16, 2026, the grassroots unions of the Trade Union Agency and the Enterprise Customer Management Board organized the "Spring Gratitude - Tet Affection" program at the Center for Nurturing and Nursing People with Merit No. 2 in Hanoi.
The BIDV delegation visited, encouraged, and presented 35 Tet gifts and two rehabilitation bicycles, contributing to the treatment and physical recovery of those being cared for at the Center, with a total cost of VND 50 million.
Expressing their deep emotion at BIDV's responsible and humane gesture, Mrs. Vu Thi Tung, Mrs. Do Thi Chan, and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thao – wives of martyrs who have lived, been cared for, and rehabilitated at the Center for many years – shared their joy and warmth at celebrating Tet in an atmosphere of affection. They said that life at the Center always receives the attentive care of the team of doctors, nurses, and staff; and that the visits and encouragement from various organizations during the Tet holiday are a valuable source of spiritual encouragement.
The "Spring of Gratitude - Tet of Compassion" program is a practical and meaningful activity, embodying the principle of "remembering one's roots" and the deep gratitude of the grassroots unions in the BIDV Union system towards those who have contributed to the revolution. Through this, it continues to affirm the social responsibility, the spread of love, and the sustainable humanitarian values of the BIDV Trade Union organization in its community activities.
The Center is a unit under the Hanoi Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs, currently directly receiving, nurturing, caring for, and rehabilitating 35 people who have contributed to the revolution, relatives of martyrs, Vietnamese Hero Mothers, and individuals in particularly difficult circumstances. Most of these elderly individuals are frail and in poor health, urgently needing care and support, especially during the traditional Tet holiday.
