BIDV Party Committee wins the Golden Sickle Award in 2025
On February 3, 2026, at the National Journalism Awards Ceremony for Party Building – Golden Sickle and Hammer Award 2025, the Party Committee of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) was honored with an award in the category of Outstanding Works on Innovation and Development of Science and Technology, Digital Transformation.
The award-winning work is a three-part series titled "Major Resolutions – Strong Actions: Vietnam Creating New Momentum" by author Vo Thi Kim Sa (BIDV Party Committee Propaganda Department).
The National Journalism Award on Party Building – Golden Sickle and Hammer Award is organized by the Central Organizing Committee in collaboration with the People's Newspaper, Communist Magazine, Vietnam Television, and the Vietnam Journalists Association to honor outstanding journalistic works on Party building, political system development, and the protection of the Party's ideological foundation. In 2025, the Award attracted 2,296 entries from press agencies and Party organizations across the country. Through rigorous and objective rounds of judging, the Organizing Committee selected 82 outstanding works to receive awards.
The series "Major Resolutions - Strong Actions: Vietnam Creates New Momentum" consists of three parts: Part 1: "Four Pillars of the System: Strategic Vision in Times of Change"; Part 2: "Aspirations into Action - United in Building the Future"; Part 3: "BIDV Party Committee: Creative Action, Driving Development".
The work focuses on an in-depth analysis of four important resolutions issued by the Politburo during the 2024–2025 period (Resolutions No. 57-NQ/TW, 59-NQ/TW, 66-NQ/TW, and 68-NQ/TW), considered the "four pillars" of the regime, laying the foundation for rapid and sustainable development in a complex and volatile global context. Based on theory and practice, the series of articles clarifies the Party's strategic vision and political determination in promoting major pillars such as science and technology, digital transformation, international integration, and improving the legal system; while affirming the role of these decisions in strengthening internal forces, enhancing national competitiveness, and realizing the aspiration to develop the country by 2045.
The highlight of the work is the linking of the Central Committee's resolutions with the practical implementation at the BIDV Party Committee, thereby affirming the pioneering role of the Party organization in state-owned enterprises in translating the Party's major policies into practical and effective actions. The work demonstrates the leadership capacity, resolution implementation capabilities, and innovative spirit of the BIDV Party Committee in the context of digital transformation and deep integration.
Over the years, the BIDV Party Committee has always been an active participant in the Golden Sickle and Hammer Award, implementing it in a systematic and serious manner. In 2025 alone, the competition across the entire Party Committee attracted 633 entries from over 150 affiliated Party organizations, with the quality of content continuously improving. The series "Major Resolutions – Strong Actions: Vietnam Creating New Momentum" was awarded the First Prize at the BIDV level before participating in the Central-level competition.
The fact that for the first time a work won the Excellent Work Award at the 2025 National Golden Sickle and Hammer Awards is an important milestone, affirming the effectiveness of the BIDV Party Committee's propaganda and political and ideological education work. The award is not only the achievement of the individual author but also reflects the coordinated and serious involvement of the entire BIDV system in organizing, launching, and improving the quality of works participating in the Golden Sickle and Hammer Award.
