On February 5, 2026, BIDV announced the "Tet Gifts for the Poor" program for the Year of the Horse 2026. This is the 18th consecutive year that BIDV has carried out this initiative.

Accordingly, the collective workforce contributed nearly 40 billion VND to distribute nearly 70,000 Tet gifts to the poor across the country.

BIDV implemented this meaningful program nationwide in all provinces and cities. BIDV branches coordinated with local authorities to organize the distribution to poor households and families in difficult circumstances. This year, BIDV is paying special attention to localities severely affected by natural disasters, prioritizing the implementation of the program in provinces such as Lang Son, Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Gia Lai, Dak Lak (formerly Binh Dinh, Phu Yen), where people are still striving daily to overcome difficulties, restore and stabilize their lives.

Each gift package, worth an average of VND 500,000, will help poor families obtain essential Tet items such as banh chung (sticky rice cakes), glutinous rice, Tet candies, cooking oil, meat, etc. This is also a sincere gesture of sharing, conveying the feelings and community responsibility of BIDV's workforce, contributing to bringing the people a more abundant and warm Tet holiday.
