Stock Market on February 9: Market less active ahead of the holiday
Market inflows remain cautious amid anticipation of further supportive information.
BASIC MARKET
The VN-Index fell right from the opening of the morning session and only stabilized when it hit the support level of 1,750 points. The bottom-fishing force here helped the index narrow its decline somewhat and close at 1,754.82 points, almost unchanged from the previous session.
Market breadth was fairly balanced with 12/18 sectors gaining points, among which Personal & Household Goods and Information Technology rose the most. On the other hand, Industrial Goods & Services and Insurance led the decline. The remaining sectors saw no significant movement.
In the final trading sessions before the holiday, trading activity may be less vibrant; investors should trade cautiously.
FUTURES
CONTRACTS All futures contracts rose in line with the VN30, except for 41I1G9000.

In the trading session on February 9, 2026, warrants fluctuated in a tug-of-war trend.
