The VN-Index fell nearly 33 points, while the VN30 lost over 51 points as selling pressure showed no signs of easing, particularly among large-cap stocks.

BASIC MARKET
The VN-Index continued to drop nearly 33 points today and closed at 1,813.14 points.

The market breadth leaned toward the negative side with 10 out of 18 sectors declining, led by the Real Estate sector, followed by the Tourism and Entertainment sector, etc. On the other hand, the Oil and Gas, Chemicals, and Utilities sectors rose sharply due to the short-term impact of the war in Iran.

Regarding foreign trading, today this group sold net on the HSX, HNX, and UPCOM exchanges. The VN-Index price movement was loose and market sentiment was generally negative; investors should trade cautiously.

CONTRACTS All futures contracts declined in line with the movement of the VN30.

In the trading session on March 3, 2026, warrants fluctuated in a weakening trend.

• The VN-Index's matched order value reached VND 40,219 billion, down -7.85% compared to the previous session. Total trading value reached VND 43,813 billion.
• Trading range: 45.73 points. The market had 120 gainers, 53 unchanged stocks, and 214 decliners.
• Net selling value of foreign investors: -787.18 billion VND on the HOSE, including HPG (-370.25 billion), VHM (-253.07 billion), VNM (-144.90 billion), POW (-140.66 billion), BSR (-129.15 billion). Foreign investors net sold on the HNX with a value of -21.81 billion VND.
