BIDV Nam Thai Nguyen has made a strong shift in implementing the RBT project, achieving impressive results that affirm the determination, discipline, and desire to lead of a united team.

These words of the philosopher Heraclitus were emphasized by Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Director of BIDV Nam Thai Nguyen, in the first communication session on the journey to implement the retail banking transformation (RBT) project as a strong declaration: Nam Thai Nguyen is not standing on the sidelines of change, but is proactively pioneering and breaking through.

The branch's management team has demonstrated determination, vision, and a high sense of responsibility in directing the implementation. The RBT project is defined not only as a structural change but also as a revolution in sales thinking, working methods, and customer service standards. The entire branch is united in purpose, focusing maximum resources, closely following the project roadmap, and flexibly addressing challenges to ensure a steady and effective transformation.

The seamless coordination between the business and support units has created a synchronized operational system. The UB, PRM, VRM, DRM, and LS positions operated as designed; the team lead team played a leading role, inspiring and closely mentoring the team. Training activities, thematic meetings, and self-training were maintained regularly, helping each officer not only do the right thing but also do it well, professionally, and with the highest level of initiative.

January 2026 marked a special milestone in the development journey of the Nam Thai Nguyen branch. After one month of implementation from January 1 to January 31, 2026, the branch recorded a new increase in term capital mobilization of VND 360 billion; a net increase in CASA of VND 368 billion; and 287 new credit cards issued.

Notably, in the RBT project's competition program, BIDV Nam Thai Nguyen excelled to lead the entire system with 60 awards - the highest achievement in the entire system, including 1 Branch award, 3 Team Lead awards, and 56 individual awards. These are not just numbers, but a source of pride and clear evidence of a strong shift from a transactional mindset to a proactive sales mindset, from following habits to following new standards.

Individuals recognized for outstanding performance in the RBT project

The Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT) reached 4.8/5, affirming the market's recognition and trust in the branch's transformation efforts. This is the result of a dedicated service mindset, the specialization of PRM and VRM roles, and the proactive counseling and guidance of customers to use digital banking services right at the counter.

The RBT transformation at BIDV Nam Thai Nguyen was implemented in line with BIDV's retail strategy to 2030, aiming to standardize processes, optimize performance, and enhance the customer experience. After one month of independent operation, the branch has demonstrated its ability to adapt quickly, implement effectively, and make a strong breakthrough.
