Today's Stock Market, March 26: VN-Index in a Phase of Finding a Balance Point
The market is seeking equilibrium within the 1,600–1,725 range; currently, the market is facing resistance at 1,645–1,660 and needs to break through this level to return to the 1,700–1,725 range.
THE
VN-Index rose to the 1,675 level right at the opening, but selling pressure pushed the index down, causing it to fluctuate within the 1,635–1,650 range before closing at 1,644.63 points, down nearly 14 points from yesterday.
Market breadth leaned toward the negative side, with 14 out of 18 sectors declining, led by the Insurance sector, followed by the Information Technology sector, etc. On the other hand, the Industrial Goods & Services sector had a positive trading session.
Regarding foreign investors’ trading activity, they were net sellers on the HSX today and net buyers on the HNX and UPCOM.
