BIDV Donates 1 Billion Dong to Support Social Welfare in Khanh Hoa Province
On March 28, BIDV officially held a ceremony to present funds to support social welfare for healthcare and educational institutions in Khanh Hoa Province.
The program was closely coordinated by the BIDV Khanh Hoa and BIDV Nha Trang branches, affirming the bank’s strong commitment to local charitable work.
Specifically, BIDV donated a support package worth 500 million VND to the Khanh Hoa 115 Emergency Center to fund the purchase of modern mobile emergency stretchers. This practical resource helps enhance rapid response capabilities and the quality of emergency medical services, contributing to the protection of the health of residents and tourists in the province.

In addition to the healthcare sector, education is also a key focus of this funding initiative. The bank has allocated an additional 500 million VND to Mai Xuan Thuong Secondary School (Vinh Hoa Ward, Nha Trang) to fund repairs and upgrades to its facilities and to award meaningful scholarships. These gifts not only help improve teaching conditions but also serve as a significant source of moral encouragement, providing support to students with outstanding academic achievements and the resilience to overcome challenges and excel in their studies.

This initiative is part of BIDV’s long-term plan in the Central region. From 2023 to 2025, the total social welfare funding BIDV has provided to Khanh Hoa Province has exceeded 15.5 billion VND. Notably, in 2025 alone, this figure reached 11.9 billion VND, demonstrating that the scale of support is growing and becoming more in-depth, contributing positively to the local area’s goals of sustainable socio-economic development.
