Today's Stock Market, March 30: VN-Index Tests Support Level
In the afternoon session, buying pressure emerged, helping the VN-Index recover to near the reference level.
BASIC MARKET
The VN-Index traded in the red during the morning session under dominant selling pressure. However, as the afternoon session began, buying interest emerged, helping the index recover to near the reference level. At the close, the VN-Index ended at 1,666.54 points (down 10.26 points).
Market breadth leaned toward the negative side, with 11 out of 18 sectors declining, among which Information Technology and Financial Services faced the strongest downward pressure. On the other hand, the Oil and Gas sector led the gains (+3.27%).
Regarding foreign investor activity, today they were net sellers on the HSX and net buyers on the HNX and UPCOM exchanges. Although investor sentiment remains cautious, holding the support zone of 1,645–1,660 is a positive signal for the index to target 1,700–1,725 in the coming sessions, though volatility may persist.
FUTURES
CONTRACTS All futures contracts declined, in line with the movement of the VN30.

During the trading session on March 30, 2026, most warrants moved in line with the corrective trend of their underlying stocks.

• Net selling value by foreign investors: -1,362.39 billion VND on the HOSE, including FPT (-203.71 billion), VCB (-111.26 billion), VPB (-108.13 billion), STB (-81.96 billion), and VHM (-64.48 billion). Foreign investors net bought on the HNX with a value of 26.92 billion VND.
