BIDV Attends the 95th Anniversary Gathering of the Youth Union in Hưng Khánh Trung, Bến Tre
On March 28, 2026, the Executive Committee of the Hung Khanh Trung Commune Youth Union, in collaboration with the Ben Tre Youth Union Cadre Liaison Board, organized a meaningful traditional gathering at the Hall of the Hung Khanh Trung Commune Military Command.
The gathering was honored by the presence of Comrade Phan Van Mai—Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Chairman of the National Assembly’s Economic and Financial Committee, former Provincial Party Secretary, and former Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Youth Union. Also in attendance were Comrade Nguyen Quoc Bao, Head of the Ben Tre Youth Union Cadre Liaison Board; Comrade Tran Ngoc Tam, former Chairman of the Ben Tre Provincial People’s Committee; Comrade Phan Thanh Tre, Deputy Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union; along with former leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Youth Union from various eras, and a large number of local cadres and youth union members.

At the ceremony, the delegates collectively reflected on the glorious 95-year journey of training and development of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2026). This was an opportunity for the young generation of Hung Khanh Trung Commune to express their deep gratitude for the contributions of previous generations—those who laid the foundation and kept the flame alive for the provincial youth movement from the years of the resistance war through to the nation-building era.
A special highlight of this year’s program is the appearance of the Southern checkered scarf—a symbol of the soul and spirit of the people of the riverine region. In support of the event, BIDV Ben Tre contributed hundreds of intricately designed checkered scarves featuring the BIDV brand logo. This blend of traditional beauty and modern flair not only created a cohesive, dignified atmosphere for the ceremony but also affirmed the strong bond between the financial institution and local social welfare efforts and the youth movement.

A representative from the partnering organization shared that printing the BIDV logo on the checkered scarf goes beyond mere brand recognition; it also conveys a message of resilience, loyalty, and a commitment to long-term partnership with the development of Ben Tre’s youth. The sight of delegates and youth members wearing the checkered scarves created a warm, welcoming atmosphere steeped in the traditional spirit of the Dong Khoi movement.
Speaking at the gathering, local leaders emphasized that this was an important political activity, helping to foster a sense of responsibility and a desire to contribute among the youth members. In this new era, the fine traditional values of the Youth Union must be carried forward and promoted more strongly than ever before to work together in building a homeland that is increasingly civilized and prosperous.
The gathering concluded in a spirit of excitement and pride. The success of the program, supported by organizations such as BIDV Ben Tre, has provided additional motivation for the youth of the commune to resolutely fulfill their tasks with excellence, living up to the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union over nearly a century of formation and development.
