BIDV Joins the Government Delegation to the United States
From March 21–30, 2026, BIDV leaders joined the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) delegation accompanying Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh on a visit and working trip to the United States.
The BIDV delegation was led by Board Member Dang Van Tuyen. The working program included numerous meetings and discussions with government officials, financial institutions, and businesses, as well as important forums on finance and technology aimed at establishing a network of relationships with partners in the United States and promoting investment in Vietnam’s International Financial Centers (IFCs).

As part of the working visit, the delegation held meetings with consultants from various fields as well as leading consulting firms in the U.S. (Protiviti – a subsidiary of the Robert Half Group, Martin Davis…). Based on the assessment that the development of the international financial market in Vietnam is a sound and promising direction, the experts expressed interest in exploring cooperation opportunities and offered several important recommendations regarding the establishment of a transparent and stable legal framework, the protection of investor rights, and the development of logistics and digital infrastructure.
Additionally, the delegation met with financial institutions, major investment funds, and held roundtable discussions with potential businesses in the U.S. market (BlackRock Investment Fund, Deutsche Bank, Outlander Capital, Stellar Development Foundation, Polymorphic Capital, etc.) to introduce, promote, and disseminate information about the policy mechanisms and preferential legal framework of the International Financial Center in Vietnam. The working program opened up opportunities for the International Financial Center in Vietnam to connect and establish a network of relationships with partners in the United States, particularly banks, investment funds, and fintech companies.

The delegation also spent time visiting, learning from, and working with leaders of the Nasdaq Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange; and met with a delegation from the state of Oregon led by Senator Mark Meek and the California State Treasurer.

The successful mission opened up opportunities for strategic cooperation and provided important practical lessons for building and developing the International Financial Center in Vietnam. As a leading commercial bank, BIDV reaffirms its readiness to provide modern financial solutions and an advanced digital ecosystem, fully meeting the requirements of the new financial model. Through this, BIDV continues to play a pioneering role in achieving national strategic goals, aiming for sustainable development and the deep integration of the economy into the global financial landscape.
