Today’s Stock Market, April 6: Short-term market trends are hard to predict
The VN-Index is testing the SMA20 support level again.
BASIC MARKET
The VN-Index continued to decline by more than 9 points today, closing at 1,674.99 points. Market breadth leaned toward the negative side, with 15 out of 18 sectors declining, among which the Oil & Gas and Insurance sectors fell the most. On the other hand, the Industrial Goods & Services sector had a positive trading session.
Regarding foreign investor activity, foreign investors were net sellers on the HSX and net buyers on the other two exchanges today.
The VN-Index is testing the SMA20 support level. Declining liquidity indicates the market’s cautious sentiment toward ongoing uncertainties; we believe the market will continue to fluctuate within a narrow range until clearer information emerges.
