Promoting Green Capital - Requires Collaboration

Nearly 621 trillion VND has been lent to green projects as of the end of 2023. This represents a 24% increase compared to the end of 2022. Green capital flows are gradually aligning with green projects.

However, green credit still accounts for a modest share, approximately 4.5% of the economy’s total outstanding debt… Therefore, timely policies to resolve bottlenecks from relevant ministries and agencies are expected to serve as a driving force, boosting green credit growth in the coming period.
