BIDV Partners with Bach Mai Hospital to Provide Health Checkups for 1,500 People in Ha Tinh
On the morning of May 17, in Ha Tinh, BIDV, in collaboration with the Ha Tinh Department of Health and Bach Mai Hospital, organized health checkups and distributed free medicine to residents in three communes: Duc Tho, Tu My, and Huong Son.
Representing BIDV, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Giao, Deputy General Director, presented a social welfare contribution of 1 billion VND to the program. Ms. Giao shared, “Ha Tinh is a land rich in revolutionary tradition, but it is also a region frequently affected by natural disasters and climate change, causing significant difficulties for the people’s livelihoods and health. We believe that today’s support is not only significant in terms of healthcare but also serves as a source of spiritual encouragement, demonstrating the strong partnership between BIDV and Bach Mai Hospital with the people of Ha Tinh.”
1,500 residents received free medical examinations
At the event, 1,500 residents—including revolutionaries, policy-beneficiary families, poor households, near-poor households, the elderly, children in difficult circumstances, and people with disabilities from the three communes of Duc Tho, Tu My, and Huong Son were examined by doctors from Bach Mai Hospital to detect common health conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, liver failure, and kidney failure, and were provided with free medication.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Nguyen expressed gratitude to Bach Mai Hospital and BIDV Bank for their valuable support to Ha Tinh in implementing the health examination program for residents. This is a meaningful activity for Ha Tinh’s healthcare sector as the province focuses on improving primary healthcare quality, developing specialized medical services, and accelerating digital transformation in line with the spirit of Resolution 72-NQ/TW of the Politburo.
In recent times, BIDV has consistently taken the lead in implementing social welfare programs for the community; the partnership program with Bach MaiHospital in Ha Tinh is a concrete action to further spread the spirit of social responsibility, the spirit of sharing, and strengthen the bond between the healthcare sector, businesses, and local party committees and authorities in the journey to care for the people’s well-being.
