A Meaningful July Journey

Held during the sacred days of July, the program not only served as an expression of gratitude toward policy-beneficiary families, wounded and disabled veterans, relatives of martyrs, and those who have contributed to the revolution, but also demonstrated the responsibility, compassion, and solidarity of BIDV and its partner organizations toward households still facing significant hardships. These practical acts continue to promote the principle of “Remembering one’s roots,” fostering a spirit of compassion and responsibility toward the community.

At the event, the organizing committee presented funding to support the construction and renovation of 27 charity homes (50 million VND per home); sponsored a playground and community physical activity programs worth 325 million VND; and distributed gifts to policy-supported families and households in difficult circumstances, as well as scholarships to poor but hardworking and academically outstanding students in Binh Giang Commune, Ninh Binh Province, totaling 100 million VND. The total funding for the entire program amounted to nearly 1.8 billion VND.

Spreading positive values to the community

Every house that was repaired, every gift that was delivered, and every scholarship awarded to students carries the care, affection, and deep gratitude of BIDV officials and members, along with C01 officers and soldiers - Ministry of Public Security—toward those who have contributed and made sacrifices for the nation’s independence and freedom. At the same time, this serves as a practical source of encouragement, reinforcing confidence and motivation for poor households and families facing difficult circumstances to stabilize their lives and gradually improve their economic conditions.

Earlier, the BIDV Youth Union and partner organizations (C01, Ninh Binh Provincial Police, and the Binh Giang Commune Youth Union) solemnly offered flowers and incense at the Binh Giang Commune Martyrs’ Cemetery, expressing their gratitude and remembrance for the heroic martyrs who bravely sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation and the defense of the Fatherland.

As one of the highlight activities marking the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day, the “July Solidarity” program not only helps improve the living conditions of families eligible for preferential policies and low-income households but also widely promotes humanitarian values, the spirit of “mutual support and compassion,” and the tradition of “compassion and solidarity” within the cultural heritage of the Vietnamese people in general and BIDV in particular.

The program concluded with handshakes, smiles, and the deep emotion of the local people. Gifts were given, but above all, the lasting value lies in the spirit of sharing, gratitude, and trust fostered between the company, the police force, and the community—on a journey toward an increasingly civilized, compassionate, and sustainably developed society.
