BIDV Launches a 50,000 tỷ đồng Preferential Loan Package for Corporate Customers
To help bolster capital for key drivers of economic growth and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), BIDV is launching a low-interest-rate credit program with a total value of up to 50,000 tỷ đồng, to be uniformly applied across its entire network
Specifically, from August 2026 through December 2028, or until the credit package is fully disbursed, small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) customers with sound financial standing who fully meet BIDV’s current credit eligibility criteria; businesses operating in priority sectors and key drivers of economic growth (including: high-tech enterprises, export-oriented businesses, the digital economy, artificial intelligence, supporting industries, semiconductors, processing, manufacturing, and green projects) that borrow funds for production and business operations will be eligible for a loan interest rate at least 1% per year lower than BIDV’s current average interest rate for loans of the same term.
BIDV is implementing this program to carry out the guidance of the State Bank of Vietnam regarding commercial banks—particularly state-owned commercial banks—playing a pioneering role, proactively reducing costs, and balancing resources to roll out programs, products, and preferential credit packages, and to stand alongside and share burdens with the public and businesses, thereby contributing to achieving the 2026 economic growth target of 10% or higher, as set forth in Government Resolution No. 168/NQ-CP dated June 27, 2026.
In recent times, BIDV has consistently taken the lead in supporting businesses—particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)—to break through and achieve growth in a challenging business environment. Specifically, BIDV has implemented the SME Fast Track program for the past two years (2025–2026), offering preferential interest rates and fee waivers for small and medium-sized enterprises conducting transactions via the BIDV Direct digital channel, providing a lifetime free license for the BIDV Direct Shop sales management software, free integration of internal accounting/ERP systems via BIDV Direct Link, along with preferential exchange rates and fee waivers for import-export businesses, helping them manage their finances more effectively. In particular, reaffirming its position as a leading bank in the green transition, BIDV offers a comprehensive support ecosystem—ranging from providing green financial solutions to in-depth consulting on ESG standards—to partner with businesses in achieving sustainable development goals.
