BIDV Partners to Build a New Classroom at Trang Dinh High School
On August 12, in Thất Khê Commune, Lang Son Province, the Lang Son Provincial Police Department, in collaboration with the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), held an inauguration ceremony for the newly constructed classrooms at Trang Dinh High School. The project, with a total investment of over 12.7 billion VND, was spearheaded by the Provincial Police Department through the mobilization of social resources, with financial support from BIDV.
Attending the inauguration ceremony were Comrade Tran Thanh Nhan, Vice Chair of the Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee; and Colonel Vu Thanh Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Director of the Provincial Police Department. Representing BIDV were Mr. Doan Viet Nam, Deputy General Director of BIDV, along with leaders from the BIDV Lang Son Branch.
The project was funded to enhance infrastructure and improve teaching and learning conditions for teachers and students at Trang Dinh High School, thereby helping to elevate the quality of education in this area, which still faces many challenges. This is also a practical initiative that helps implement Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of education and training.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Vu Thanh Tung, Director of the Lang Son Provincial Police Department, affirmed that the project demonstrates the concern of the Party, the State, the Ministry of Public Security, BIDV, and local Party committees and authorities for the cause of education and social welfare. The project not only helps address infrastructure challenges but also creates a better learning environment for students in the area.
In recent times, the Lang Son Provincial Police have actively mobilized social resources to invest in educational and healthcare infrastructure in disadvantaged areas. Partnering with the program, BIDV continues to affirm its responsibility as a major bank toward the community, actively joining hands with local authorities to carry out social welfare activities and help improve the quality of life for the people.
At the inauguration ceremony, leaders of the Lang Son Provincial Police Department expressed their hope that BIDV would continue to partner with the province in social welfare programs and invest in practical projects that serve the people’s daily lives, particularly in the field of education.
