BIDV’s Chairman of the Board of Directors Was Honored as One of the Top 10 Outstanding Entrepreneurs of 2026
On October 11, 2026, at the National Convention Center, the 2026 “Outstanding Vietnamese Entrepreneurs – Thánh Gióng Cup” Commemoration and Recognition Ceremony took place with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc, along with representatives from government agencies, organizations, and the business community.
Mr. Le Ngoc Lam, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BIDV, was honored as one of the Top 10 Outstanding Vietnamese Entrepreneurs and received the 2026 Thánh Gióng Cup.
The awards ceremony, organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), was held in anticipation of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day on October 13. This year, 100 entrepreneurs representing various regions, sectors, and industries of the economy were selected and honored for their outstanding contributions to corporate governance and management during the 2021–2025 period.
Initiated by VCCI in 2006, the “Outstanding Vietnamese Entrepreneur – Thánh Gióng Cup” title not only recognizes achievements in production and business but also emphasizes sustainable development, leadership capabilities, innovation, business ethics, and responsibility toward employees, the community, and society.
In this new phase of the nation’s development, the business community plays an increasingly vital role in mobilizing resources, enhancing competitiveness, promoting innovation, and realizing the aspiration to build a developed, strong, and prosperous Vietnam.
Along with the awards ceremony, this year’s series of events also features the forum “Pioneering Entrepreneurs – A Government for the New Era” and the exhibition “Vietnamese Enterprises – An Era of Growth Alongside the Nation,” which bridges policy dialogue with business realities and spreads the pioneering spirit and development aspirations of Vietnamese entrepreneurs.
Mr. Le Ngoc Lam’s recognition marks a significant milestone for him personally and acknowledges his efforts in the governance, management, and development of BIDV.
