2026 Essay Contest: BIDV Honored for Three Entries
On the evening of August 20, 2026, at the Ho Guom Theater (Hanoi), the BIDV Party Committee had three entries honored at the awards ceremony for the 2nd Government Party Committee Contest on Safeguarding the Party’s Ideological Foundation in 2026, including one Special Prize, one B Prize, and one C Prize.
The 2026 Essay Contest Attracted 451 Entries from BIDV
In 2026, the Essay Contest on Safeguarding the Party’s Ideological Foundation continued to receive an enthusiastic response throughout the BIDV Party Committee, with 451 entries submitted—a 25% increase compared to the previous year.
The entries were diverse in genre and closely aligned with the practical realities of Party-building work and banking operations. The content focused on many current issues such as green finance, innovation, corporate culture, Party-building work, and the defense of the Party’s ideological foundation. As a result, the contest not only generated widespread impact throughout the Party organization but also helped integrate political commentary with BIDV’s practical operations.
BIDV’s results have made a positive contribution to the overall achievements of the State Bank of Vietnam Party Committee—one of eight collectives recognized for outstanding achievements by the Government Party Committee at the awards ceremony.
BIDV Had 3 Entries Honored
Among the 75 outstanding entries honored by the Government Party Committee at the contest, BIDV had three entries that achieved high rankings, including one Special Prize, one B Prize, and one C Prize.
Special Prize for an entry on the intrinsic power of culture
The Special Prize was awarded to the three-part online article series “Culture—the Internal Source Preserving the Vietnamese Spirit in the New Era” by the authors Tran Xuan Hoang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Member of the Board of Directors, and Vo Thi Kim Sa, an official from the Party Committee’s Propaganda Department.
Two works won the Second Prize and Third Prize
The two-part series “Keeping the Flame of Branch Activities Alive—The Vitality of Grassroots Party Organizations” by a team from the Party Committee’s Propaganda Department—Hoang Thi Ngoc Minh, Vu Thu Hien, and Nguyen Ngoc Nhat—won the B Prize.
In addition, the three-part series “Culture—a ‘Soft Shield’ in Defending the Party’s Ideological Foundation” by author Tran Thị Thúy Hằng of the Youth Union Office won the C Prize.
The three works were honored for their distinct approaches, yet all are closely tied to Party building, culture, and the mission of safeguarding the Party’s ideological foundation in practice.
Continuing to Enhance the Quality of Political Commentary Works
2026 marks the second year the Government Party Committee has organized the contest and the first year it has presented awards at the Government Party Committee level.
The results achieved by the BIDV Party Committee in this year’s Contest further affirm the effectiveness of the BIDV Party Committee’s leadership and guidance in carrying out the task of safeguarding the Party’s ideological foundation. This also serves as a driving force to continue improving the quality of political essays, linking them more closely to the practical work of Party building and banking operations.
