BIDV Ba Ria accompanies the cross-country race celebrating the Year of the Horse
On the morning of February 7, 2026, BIDV Ba Ria participated in and sponsored the Spring Marathon to celebrate the Year of the Horse, spreading the spirit of sports and community responsibility.
In the joyful atmosphere of the early days of the new spring, on the morning of February 7, 2026, the Vietnam Bank for Investment and Development – Ba Ria Branch (BIDV Ba Ria) actively participated in and sponsored the Expanded Cross-Country Race Celebrating the Year of the Horse – Celebrating the Glorious Party in 2026. The program, organized by the People's Committee of Ba Ria Ward - Ho Chi Minh City, attracted more than 500 athletes and local people to participate in the 3km and 5km events.
Participating in this year's race, the BIDV Ba Ria team consisted of 10 athletes who are officials and employees from various departments within the branch. This was not just a race, but also an opportunity for BIDV officials and employees to improve their health, demonstrate their dynamism, and strengthen the bond between members.
The event was honored to have the participation and direct encouragement of: Ms. Nguyen Thi Tham - Chairwoman of the Trade Union, Deputy Director of BIDV Ba Ria Branch.
The presence of the leadership team not only greatly encouraged the athletes but also affirmed BIDV Ba Ria's commitment to maintaining a healthy corporate culture that focuses on people as the center of development.
In addition to participating in the competition, with a spirit of community responsibility, BIDV Ba Ria donated VND 10,000,000 to the organizing committee. This funding will contribute to improving the quality of the event, encouraging mass sports and physical education, and creating a healthy playground for the people of Ba Ria City during the traditional Tet holiday.
"We hope that through this running event, the image of a dynamic, friendly BIDV that always accompanies local cultural and social activities will become increasingly familiar to customers and residents," Ms. Nguyen Thi Tham shared at the event.
