BIDV donates 10 billion VND to support people in flood-affected areas
This beautiful gesture was performed by BIDV at the Closing Ceremony of the 1st Autumn Fair with the theme "Autumn of hope - sharing love" held on the evening of November 3, 2025.

Attending the closing ceremony were Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son - Head of the Fair Steering Committee; Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung and leaders of ministries, branches, provinces, cities and representatives of diplomatic and international agencies, domestic and foreign enterprises.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stated that after 10 days of exciting, professional and inspiring activities, the first Autumn Fair in 2025 is a good start, opening a new chapter for a series of national trade - investment - cultural promotion events of international stature of Vietnam in the new era.

Within the framework of the ceremony, Mr. Le Ngoc Lam - General Director of BIDV represented BIDV to donate 10 billion VND, joining hands with agencies and businesses to support people in flood-affected areas, contributing to spreading practical and meaningful actions towards people who are heavily affected after the storm, helping people to soon stabilize their lives.
Previously, in order to promptly support the recovery of natural disasters in localities damaged by storms No. 10 and 11, BIDV assigned branches in the area to directly support the government and people from 500 million to 2 billion VND/locality (depending on the level of damage). At the same time, responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, BIDV Bank Trade Union, with the spirit of mutual love towards the community, mobilized union members and workers
BIDV officers and employees participated in donating at least one day's salary to join the government in sharing difficulties with families affected by natural disasters and floods.
Providing timely support to localities affected by natural disasters is a good tradition that BIDV has proactively and actively implemented over the years. The amount of money BIDV has donated through natural disasters in the past 5 years has reached hundreds of billions of VND. In 2025 alone, the total social security budget funded by the government as of October 31, 2025 is 395 billion VND, of which funding for overcoming the consequences of natural disasters is more than 60 billion VND. This source of funding not only contributes additional resources to support livelihood restoration, care for policy families, poor households, and disaster areas, but also affirms BIDV's pioneering role in implementing the policies of the Party and State, and pioneering in community activities.
