BIDV joins hands to share with people in the flood-hit areas of the Central region
On November 26, 2025, the BIDV delegation led by Chairman of the Board of Directors Phan Duc Tu directly came to share and give 20 billion VND to join hands with the authorities and people of Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, and Gia Lai provinces to overcome difficulties after natural disasters.
In recent days, the Central region of Vietnam has been struggling to bear the brunt of consecutive historic storms and floods. With the spirit of mutual love and sharing for the community, BIDV has promptly joined hands with the authorities and people of the provinces to overcome the consequences and stabilize life after the storms and floods.
Also participating in the BIDV delegation were comrades Tran Xuan Hoang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors of BIDV, Tran Phuong, Deputy General Director, Chairman of BIDV Trade Union and representatives of branches in the 3 provinces.
Speaking at the support handover ceremony, BIDV Chairman Phan Duc Tu expressed his understanding of the difficulties and losses that people are facing and emphasized that "this support is BIDV's sentiment and responsibility to the community - to give people peace of mind, more spiritual support and conditions to quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters."

BIDV's sharing journey is not only a financial resource but also a companionship and continuation of the journey of responsibility and spreading love. Implementing the 4 on-the-spot motto, on November 21, BIDV branches in 3 provinces such as BIDV Binh Dinh, Quy Nhon, Phu Tai, Khanh Hoa, Nha Trang, Phu Yen, although also affected and damaged by the flood, quickly coordinated with the local police, militia and military forces to bring timely relief gifts to the people in remote communes.
BIDV leaders also directly encouraged BIDV staff at heavily affected branches such as Khanh Hoa, Nha Trang, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Phu Tai, Quy Nhon. Many staff, despite having just experienced property damage, still made efforts to maintain banking operations, ensuring service to people in the most difficult times. The sharing of BIDV leaders at the branches is not only a spiritual encouragement but also demonstrates BIDV's deep spirit of solidarity and companionship with the staff at the front line. On this occasion, BIDV Trade Union Social Fund supported staff and families affected by the flood.
In October and November alone, with the spirit of mutual love and support, BIDV called on its staff and workers and allocated 46 billion VND to support people in provinces affected by natural disasters. In addition, there were sincere and heartfelt visits and words of encouragement, and timely support from colleagues at all branches to staff and their families affected by natural disasters in the Central region.
Never before have the bonds of love and affection been so closely linked as during natural disasters and floods.
BIDV believes that with the consensus of the State, businesses and people, the provinces heavily damaged by natural disasters will soon recover from storms and floods, stabilizing life and production activities.
