BIDV joins hands to support people affected by natural disasters in Dien Bien province
On August 5, 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province organized a launching ceremony to support people affected by natural disasters in the province. Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV) joined hands with the locality to support people affected by natural disasters with an amount of 2 billion VND.
The program was attended by leaders of Dien Bien province: Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Quoc Cuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Mua A Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Tien Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do; Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Lo Van Phuong; together with representatives of departments, branches, sectors; enterprises, organizations, individuals, and philanthropists in the province.
BIDV supports people affected by natural disasters in Dien Bien with 2 billion VND.
Faced with the severe damage caused by natural disasters and storm No. 3 to the people in Dien Bien province, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province promptly launched a movement to support people in flood-affected areas, promoting the tradition of mutual love and the spirit of contributing and sharing for the good community of our people.
The program has received a lot of practical support in cash and kind, with the total amount of money mobilized for support at the program according to the initial summary being about more than 10 billion VND.
The Deputy Director of BIDV Dien Bien branch, representing BIDV, attended the program and registered to donate 2 billion VND with the hope of making a practical and timely contribution to the locality to share the difficulties of people affected by natural disasters.

With the spirit of mutual love, BIDV wishes to contribute and share its heart towards the people in the disaster-stricken areas, contributing to supporting the local authorities and people to reduce difficulties, overcome damage and soon stabilize life after the storm.
