BIDV Lai Chau: "Border Guard Spring" brings warmth to border villages

This is an annual activity organized by the Sin Suoi Ho Border Guard Station in collaboration with the People's Committee of Kong Lao Commune, aiming to bring the Lunar New Year early to the ethnic communities along the nation's border.

Attending the program, the delegation led by Mr. Phan Quang Hung, Deputy Director of the Branch, along with BIDV Lai Chau's staff, brought warm sentiments to the local people. With the spirit of "mutual love and support" and social responsibility always prioritized, the branch has demonstrated its care through practical actions, contributing to sharing difficulties with the local community.

At the program, BIDV Lai Chau directly presented 15 Tet gift packages, each worth 1 million VND, to policy-supported households and poor households facing particularly difficult circumstances. In addition, the branch also allocated 10 million VND to support the "Zero Dong Shop." This is a meaningful initiative of the organizers, helping local people to buy essential goods and agricultural products to prepare for a more abundant Tet holiday.

Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of BIDV shared: "These gifts may be small, but they represent the affection and gratitude of BIDV's staff and employees towards the local people. We hope that this sharing will contribute to helping the local people enjoy a more prosperous Tet holiday and provide them with additional motivation to stand firm alongside the border guards in protecting the country's sovereignty."
