On the morning of September 25, the BIDV Phuc Yen Branch presented a 500-million-dong educational grant to the Bến Tre High School Scholarship Fund (Phuc Yen Ward).

In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony to present social welfare funds for education, Bến Tre High School (Phúc Yên Ward, Phú Thọ Province) recently received a meaningful grant from BIDV. The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Mau Son—Director of the BIDV Phuc Yen Branch; Mr. Nguyen Van Dai—Principal of the school; along with representatives from the Ward People’s Committee, the local Education Promotion Association, the Parent-Teacher Association, and a large number of staff, teachers, and students.
Spreading the Spirit of Social Responsibility
In addition to its core mission of mobilizing capital and providing financial resources to support economic and social development, BIDV has consistently prioritized implementing social welfare programs over the years. By reducing operational costs and mobilizing voluntary contributions from its staff and employees, the bank has allocated hundreds of billions of dong each year to support eligible families, low-income households, and healthcare and educational institutions nationwide, making a positive contribution to ensuring social welfare in local communities.
As one of the major businesses in the area, BIDV Phuc Yen has consistently supported the cause of local educational development through concrete actions. During the 2026–2027 school year, the branch donated VND 500 million to the Bến Tre High School Scholarship Fund. These resources are intended to support students facing particularly difficult circumstances, while also recognizing and rewarding those who have achieved outstanding results in their studies and personal development.
Supporting a School with a 65-Year Tradition
With a 65-year tradition of development, Bến Tre High School stands as a beacon of education in Phúc Yên Ward. Due to the nature of the area, the school annually enrolls a large number of students from rural families, low-income households, near-poor households, or those facing particularly difficult family circumstances. Over the years, thanks to the joint efforts of parents and generations of alumni, the school’s Scholarship Fund has become a solid foundation, helping many children at risk of dropping out continue their education while also supporting the school in improving its facilities and enhancing the quality of instruction.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Mau Son, Director of the BIDV Phuc Yen Branch, expressed his hope that the school would manage and allocate the grant to the right recipients and for the intended purposes. In this way, the funds will not only provide timely encouragement for students to strive for high academic achievement but also help alleviate some of the hardships faced by teachers and students in the teaching process. He also affirmed that the BIDV Phuc Yen Branch will continue to support the school’s activities in the journey ahead.
