BIDV Tu Liem - My Bright Youth

I still remember clearly the first day I came to work at BIDV Tu Liem, it was a bright summer afternoon, when 63 officers from all BIDV units gathered here, bringing with them the confusion and excitement of the first meeting. From a Deputy Head of Department transferred from the Head Office's Card Center, I was honored to be assigned the important responsibility of Head of the General Planning Department. Together with my first teammates, we started to build a new branch - a common home that I would always call by the affectionate name: "My Youth".

Grow from challenges ...

From the time I joined BIDV in 2006 until I worked at BIDV Tu Liem in 2015, I spent most of my time working in the Support Department at the Head Office. At the end of 2016, I was assigned the role of Head of Internal Management Department, and also in charge of leading the Business Development Team - a big challenge when the team at that time was mainly collaborators. Undeterred, my teammates and I persistently built plans, developed customers, and gradually built prestige and brand for BIDV Tu Liem in the market. By 2018, the Business Development Team was officially upgraded to Corporate Customer Department 2 - an important milestone marking the branch's steady development.

I am fortunate to have always been trusted by the Board of Directors and given the opportunity to take on many difficult tasks. One of the most memorable impressions is the opportunity to participate in the “Future Bank Leaders” training course and was honored to receive a 3-month study permit in Australia in 2018. This is not only a valuable opportunity to improve my knowledge but also a motivation for me to continue to dedicate myself when I return.

In 2019, a new and challenging challenge began when I was assigned the position of Director of To Huu Transaction Office. With the consensus and determination of the entire team, in a short time, To Huu Transaction Office has risen to become a large-scale transaction office, achieving a special rank in the BIDV system. With the aspiration to turn To Huu into a "miniature branch", my colleagues and I have gradually built a solid foundation, creating momentum for outstanding development. Up to now, the total capital mobilization and credit scale of the transaction office has exceeded 6,000 billion VND, and profits are always in the Top of the most effective transaction offices in the system. To Huu Transaction Office is not only a bright spot, but also a great source of pride for all of us.

BIDV Tu Liem - The journey is not just about work, but also about passion

In 2021, I was appointed as Deputy Branch Director, in charge of the Retail Division and several departments of the Wholesale Division. With the trust of the leadership, I also had the opportunity to lead new Business Teams such as: Digital Banking Service Team (2021), Foreign Corporate and Financial Institution Customer Team (2022), Customer Service Team (2024). To date, 2 out of 3 teams have been upgraded to departments, including Department of Science and Technology 2 (2023) and Department of FDI Corporate Customer (2024). These departments and teams have achieved outstanding growth in both scale and efficiency, contributing significantly to the overall business results of the branch.

BIDV Tu Liem is not only my workplace, but also my second home. As Vice President, then President of the branch's Trade Union, I always keep in mind that: a collective can only develop sustainably when each member feels happy and attached to the place where they work. Therefore, the Trade Union Executive Board and I always strive to take care of the material and spiritual life of the staff, so that every day at work is a happy day, so that BIDV Tu Liem is not only a workplace but also a place to connect people with the same goals.

The 10-year journey at BIDV Tu Liem is not just about numbers and business results, but also a story of youth, ambitions and relentless efforts.

I am grateful that in that journey, I had a leader - the Branch Director - a person full of passion, with strategic vision and wholeheartedly devoted to the collective. He is not only a person who constantly innovates and is always creative to bring BIDV Tu Liem far, but also a person who inspires me in my work. I am also grateful to my teammates who have overcome many difficulties with me to have a strong BIDV Tu Liem like today. And most of all, I am grateful to myself for always keeping the flame of passion in my heart, persevering to the end to make my dream come true.

The road ahead is still long, BIDV Tu Liem will continue to develop strongly. And I will always be here, dedicating myself, to continue writing brilliant pages of youth with BIDV Tu Liem. The branch is not only a workplace, but also my youth, my passion, my proud career.
