BIDV - Where my love, home and career began
Happiness is having something to do, a place to come back to and someone to love. For me, all three of those things fortunately come from BIDV.
In 2018, I came to BIDV Hoai Duc as a brand new "transaction officer", full of excitement and expectation, imagining in my mind the image of a professional officer in a blue uniform, counting stacks of brand new money, giving friendly smiles to customers. But on the first day of work, I received notice that I would be transferred to the Personal Customer Department - becoming a customer management officer - a position that requires dynamism, in-depth knowledge of the profession, and many skills. At that time, I felt like I had just entered a completely new path, full of challenges and obstacles.

In the early days, I struggled with new products, asset valuation, credit limit calculation, working capital turnover calculation, customer approach and assessment. Sometimes, I was so confused that I was afraid to answer the customer's phone because I didn't know how to answer. But fortunately, BIDV is a place where all operations are clearly defined in writing, helping us to be more confident in our work. Beside me are colleagues who are good at their profession and are willing to share and accompany me in any situation. After each working day, I learn something new, gain new knowledge, and mature a little more. And from then on, I fell in love with this job without even realizing it.
In 2022, I was the first customer manager of the branch to be promoted to Priority Customer Manager. Participating in intensive training courses at BIDV Head Office and meeting excellent colleagues throughout the system helped me broaden my thinking and develop myself in a more positive and comprehensive way. The job of Priority Customer Manager also helped me to meet many VIP customers, who are not only customers, but also friends and strong inspirations in our work and life.
Until now, I still silently thank the Board of Directors and my colleagues for trusting and choosing me, guiding me for the past 8 years, so that I dare to walk on a path that I never thought of before. BIDV Hoai Duc is not only a place where I can work, train and develop myself comprehensively, but also a place filled with love. Every morning when I enter the office, I see familiar smiles, hear warm greetings, feel the friendliness of my colleagues, it feels so familiar. BIDV Hoai Duc is now like a second home, an indispensable part of my life.

Not only am I a BIDV officer, I am also the wife of a BIDV officer. He is my companion in both work and life. In the early days of my wife's employment, he shared with me every document, process, product, gave me practical advice, experience, how to handle difficult situations and encouraged me whenever I was discouraged.
As a Customer Management Officer, he is busy with work, but he never forgets to spend time with his family. There are days when I have to stay late to process documents, he is the one to pick up the children and prepare dinner for the family. Every morning, he tries to get up early to help his wife take the children to school. On holidays, the branch gives him spiritual encouragement gifts such as movie tickets, circus tickets, book vouchers, etc., and our whole family has fun and happy moments together. That thoughtfulness makes us feel very lucky to be a part of the big BIDV family.

My family has 5 members, my husband and I are both BIDV officers and 3 lovely little angels. That makes every story around the dinner table not only filled with bank stories - a new customer, an interesting project, to memorable memories at work - but also mixed with laughter and innocence of the children. One of the first voices of my children is BIDV when they see the logo of their parent bank. My eldest daughter often says that she will work at BIDV like her mother in the future - an innocent saying but enough to make us both proud and emotional.
My husband and I also started our family from BIDV. We bought our first house with preferential loans for staff, and regularly paid off the debt with our income from BIDV. After paying off all the debt and having a small amount of savings, with the encouragement of our colleagues and close customers, we boldly invested in a small piece of land. Two years later, the money from selling the land and the old house helped us to move to a larger apartment. Many people told me why I didn't keep the old house, not borrow more to make a bigger investment, leaving the old house to see if the price would increase. But with the knowledge I have accumulated from training courses for priority customer staff, I understand that a reasonable financial structure, suitable to my ability, will create sustainable development and a safe life in the long term. That is also what I often share with young customers of BIDV.
The house is not only a place to return to after a long day, but also a symbol of the companionship between us and BIDV - a place that always cares and looks after the lives of its staff with practical and humane policies. Now, we are starting to plan for a new house, and certainly, in every big plan of life, there will always be the companionship of BIDV.
BIDV has given me a job to be passionate about, a solid home and a wonderful family. And with all that, I am proud to say: My happiness starts from BIDV.
