On November 24, 2025 in Hanoi, BIDV attended the 9th National Emulation Congress of the Banking Industry. As the bank with the longest history in the system, over the past 68 years, BIDV has always been a pioneer in responding to and effectively implementing emulation movements launched by the Government and the Banking Industry.
Thanks to the synchronous efforts of the entire system, BIDV has been recognized by the Party, State, Government and Banking Industry with many noble titles. Summarizing the period 2020-2025, BIDV continues to be honored to receive awards for collectives, units and individuals with outstanding achievements.
Mr. Le Ngoc Lam - General Director of BIDV received the Red Star Award 2025
On November 26, 2025, at the Red Star Award Ceremony, Mr. Le Ngoc Lam - General Director of BIDV - was honored as one of the 10 outstanding entrepreneurs. With important contributions in promoting digital transformation, modernizing the system and consolidating BIDV's leading position, while helping the bank maintain its position in the Top 1,000 largest listed enterprises in the world, he was recognized by the Selection Council and awarded the Red Star Entrepreneur Award 2025.
BIDV joins hands to share with people in flood-hit areas
On November 26-27, 2025, the BIDV delegation led by Chairman Phan Duc Tu went directly to Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, and Gia Lai provinces to visit, share, and give 20 billion VND to support the government and people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters. The delegation also came to encourage, share, and provide material and spiritual support to staff of BIDV branches affected in the area.
Along with that, promoting the tradition of mutual love, BIDV staff across the system unanimously donated and shared their hearts with the desire to contribute to easing the difficulties that people in flood-affected areas are having to endure.

Support for temporary housing demolition in Bac Ninh
On November 22, 2025, the Risk Management Division coordinated with BIDV Bac Giang to organize a social security program, supporting the demolition of temporary houses for 3 poor households in Tuan Dao commune, Bac Ninh, and giving gifts to the families and the education promotion fund with a total value of 256 million VND. The activity not only helps households build new homes, but also motivates them to work and improve their lives.
Nurturing green shoots in Sin Chai, Lao Cai
On November 21, 2025, the BIDV delegation and local authorities inaugurated the Sin Chai School - Trinh Tuong Kindergarten, Lao Cai. The new school and outdoor playground were built and sponsored by BIDV, providing a safe and healthy learning environment, while also donating equipment and organizing activities for the children. At the ceremony, BIDV and the school performed a tree planting ceremony, symbolizing hope and a bright future for the children.
Continuing the tradition - Connecting the future
Recently, BIDV Can Tho organized a "Return to the Source" journey in Tay Ninh, visiting the special national relic of the Southern Central Office Base, commemorating heroic history and arousing the spirit of dedication.
The journey is not only about history but also an opportunity to connect, learn and inspire BIDV Can Tho youth to continue to pioneer, innovate and contribute to the strong development of the branch.
