Last week, units across the BIDV system organized many meaningful cultural activities.
BIDV is honored to be the first Vietnamese Joint Stock Commercial Bank to be recognized by the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
At the 43rd Meeting of the Green Climate Fund (GCF), BIDV was officially recognized as an “Accredited Entity” – marking an important turning point in the journey of sustainable development and promoting climate finance in Vietnam. The Green Climate Fund is the world’s largest climate finance fund, established within the framework of the Paris Agreement, to support developing countries in mobilizing resources for green growth, emission reduction and climate change adaptation.
This achievement affirms BIDV's pioneering role in national green transformation, and at the same time demonstrates its commitment to accompany Vietnam in contributing to global climate change response efforts, towards the goal of becoming the leading "BIG - STRONG - GREEN" financial group in Southeast Asia.
Honoring "Typical excellent advanced model"
On the morning of October 26, 2025, at the Vietnam - Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace (Hanoi), the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor organized the 10th National Emulation Congress for Workers, Civil Servants and Laborers. At the Congress, Ms. Do Thi Thanh Huyen - Director of BIDV Corporate Customer Management Board - was honored as "Typical Outstanding Advanced Model".
Her achievement is a worthy reward for her personal efforts; at the same time, it contributes to affirming the role of BIDV Trade Union in effectively implementing patriotic emulation movements, discovering and fostering advanced models, building a team of BIDV employees who are professional, creative and always strive to achieve good values.
BIDV pays tribute to People's Armed Forces Hero Pham Ngoc Thao
On October 24, 2025, BIDV was honored to join Vinh Long province and General Department II of the Ministry of National Defense to solemnly organize the inauguration ceremony of the Memorial House of Colonel, Hero of the People's Armed Forces, Martyr Pham Ngoc Thao - one of the most outstanding strategic intelligence soldiers in the history of the Vietnamese revolution.
The activity not only shows BIDV's deep gratitude to the previous generation, but also contributes to spreading humanistic values, arousing the pride and desire to contribute of today's generation, towards building a prosperous - sustainable - humane Vietnam.
Give love - Send smiles
On October 25, 2025, with the permission and attention of the Branch Board of Directors, BIDV Bao Loc Youth Union organized the charity program "Giving love - Sending smiles" at Tin Thac Shelter (Bao Loc City, Lam Dong), which is taking care of more than 70 children in special circumstances. At the program, the branch presented meaningful gifts including milk, diapers, candy, cooking oil, essential necessities... to the nuns and children, bringing sincere feelings and warm sharing from the BIDV family.
The activity demonstrated the spirit and responsibility towards the community - a humanistic beauty that BIDV has preserved and spread throughout its development journey.
