Mr. Tran Van Bang: "Individual success cannot be separated from the collective success"

Congratulations on being honored at the BIDV Advanced Model Conference, this must be an unforgettable memory . on your business trip ?
Being the representative of the Corporate Culture team honored at the Advanced Model Conference is a great honor, and also a strong motivation for me to continue to strive and contribute. Nearly 9 years with BIDV - a journey with many challenges but also extremely meaningful, where I have grown through each experience. From the first days of entering the profession, until now, I have always maintained my enthusiasm and inquisitive spirit, constantly learning and innovating to adapt and develop.

The successes I have achieved step by step are not only personal milestones, but also a testament to the strength of a united collective, where each member is given the opportunity to develop their abilities and develop comprehensively. The solidarity and encouragement from colleagues and the close guidance from the leadership have given me confidence, a sense of responsibility and a desire to constantly improve.
In a series of BIDV emulation movements, which movement has the deepest impression on you?
The movement to build and practice a culture of learning and innovation has left the most impression on me. Among them, many topics and initiatives have been recognized and widely applied to help improve labor productivity, save time and costs for BIDV. In addition, many professional competitions such as: Risk Control Culture Competition (2022), BIDV Cultural Ambassador Competition (2024), Banking Professional Competition "Green Bank for Green Life" (2024) ... are organized professionally and systematically, not only creating a useful playground for us to improve our knowledge and professional skills, but also an opportunity to spread the spirit of responsibility, initiative and corporate culture throughout the system. Participating in the competition, working side by side with teammates, sharing practical experiences and spreading BIDV culture is an extremely meaningful and proud experience for me.
What is the source of motivation that has helped you persevere and achieve the achievements you have today?
The biggest motivation for me is the trust and expectation from the team. Every achievement is the result of continuous efforts, but more than that, it is the spirit of solidarity, unity and mutual support within the team. I always keep in mind that: individual success cannot be separated from the collective success.
At BIDV Hanoi, the Board of Directors always accompanies, shares, and makes emulation no longer a task but an intrinsic need of each staff member. Starting from seemingly simple rewards such as the title of "Outstanding Staff" every quarter and every year that the branch considers and awards, I have found in them timely encouragement and motivation, and that has become a catalyst, adding energy to motivate me to constantly strive, exceed work targets, proactively propose initiatives and solutions to contribute to improving labor productivity and actively participate in emulation programs launched by the agency.
How do you think you can contribute to inspiring the competitive spirit and inspiring the young generation at BIDV ?
I am well aware that today’s recognition is not the end, but the beginning of a greater responsibility. I will continue to maintain the pioneering spirit, share experiences, support colleagues – especially young people – in my daily work.
At the same time, I wish to spread the culture of positive competition through specific actions and results, so that every BIDV officer can feel that their efforts are always meaningful and will be duly recognized.
