Notice of updates to online payment services and the BIDV SmartBanking app for January 2026

Dear Valued Customers,

In order to enhance service quality and introduce new convenient features for customers, BIDV will perform an update to its online payment services and upgrade the BIDV SmartBanking digital banking app during the following specific time period:

1. From 11:00 PM on January 29, 2026, to 11:59 PM on January 29, 2026: During this time, all BIDV online payment services will be temporarily suspended.
2. From 00:00 on January 30, 2026, to 01:00 on January 30, 2026: The following online services will be temporarily suspended:
(i) All services on the SmartBanking application.
(ii) All payment gateway transactions for individual customers.
(iii) Electronic wallet transactions (linking, depositing, and withdrawing funds) that require verification via SmartBanking or for customers who opened an account at BIDV via EKYC. Other
online services will operate normally.
