BIDV accompanied the young participants throughout the children’s painting contest.
“Drawing Dreams with BIDV” was launched by BIDV in April 2026 to mark the 69th anniversary of its founding (April 26, 1957 – April 26, 2026) with the aim of creating a creative platform where children aged 6 to 12 could freely express their emotions, imagination, and the pure dreams of childhood. For BIDV, this is not merely a children’s contest but embodies the bank’s operational philosophy: people are at the heart of sustainable development. “BIDV not only accompanies its customers on their journey to build their lives today but also hopes to contribute to nurturing the generations who will shape the nation’s future.”

Award Ceremony for the Children’s Drawing Contest
After a five-week campaign, the Organizing Committee received 1,200 entries from children across the country—a collection of innocent, creative strokes and beautiful dreams about family, homeland, community, and the nation’s future.

The entries were created using a variety of materials and forms, offering fresh yet meaningful perspectives. Alongside simple dreams of a close-knit family, a safe and happy learning environment, and more... many children also expressed their aspirations to contribute to the community: becoming a doctor to treat the poor, a teacher bringing education to children in remote mountainous areas, or a scientist creating inventions that benefit people’s lives…

After several rounds of judging with careful and impartial selection by the Judging Panel, 21 outstanding works were honored. Among them, the Special Prize was awarded to young artist Tran Thien Y; the two First Prizes went to Tran Man Nhi and Doan Hoang Phat; three Second Prizes went to Nguyen Khanh Chi, Bui Bao An, and Phan Nguyen Kim; and five Third Prizes were awarded to Pham Phuong Anh, Nguyen Kim Son, Dang Minh Anh, Luong Anh Minh Anh, and Nguyen Phuong Lan. In addition, 10 Encouragement Prizes were awarded to outstanding entries. All these awards serve as a well-deserved recognition of the children’s efforts, creativity, and the meaningful messages they conveyed through the contest.

As Vietnam’s oldest commercial bank, throughout its 69-year journey of development, BIDV has consistently recognized that the responsibility of a leading financial institution is not only to contribute to the country’s socio-economic development but also to stand alongside the community, support education, and help build a better life.
