Stock Market on February 10: VN-Index narrows decline thanks to support from Vin Group stocks

Selling pressure spread, especially in the banking and energy sectors. The VN-Index narrowed its decline thanks to the pull from Vin Group stocks.

BASIC MARKET
The VN-Index fluctuated between 1,741 and 1,777 throughout the day and closed at 1,754.03 points.

Market breadth leaned negative with 14 out of 18 sectors declining, with the Oil and Gas sector falling the most. On the other hand, the Real Estate sector led the gains.

Regarding foreign trading, today this group bought on net on all three exchanges: HSX, HNX, and UPCOM. The tug-of-war trading with low liquidity is likely to continue throughout this week; the trend may become clearer in the new lunar year.

CONTRACTS All futures contracts rose in line with the VN30, except for 41I1G9000.

In the trading session on February 10, 2026, warrants fluctuated in a tight range.

• Net buying value of foreign investors: VND 758.36 billion on the HOSE, including MBB (VND 572.01 billion), VIC (VND 209.55 billion), MWG (VND 200.31 billion), DCM (VND 81.71 billion), and DPM (VND 74.07 billion). Foreign investors net bought on the HNX with a value of VND 144.26 billion.
