THE
VN-Index continued its seesawing trend today and closed at 1,699.13 points. The market saw significant volatility in the latter half of the afternoon session, a common occurrence on derivatives expiration days.

Market breadth leaned heavily toward the negative side, with 17 out of 18 sectors declining, led by the Oil & Gas and Chemicals sectors. Regarding foreign trading, foreign investors continued to net sell across all three exchanges—HSX, HNX, and UPCOM—today.

Given the unclear trend and lack of market consensus, investors should maintain a cautious mindset in their trading.
