BASIC MARKET The
VN-Index fell to the 1,875 level before rebounding in the afternoon session and closing at 1,901.10 points, up nearly 6 points from yesterday. Market breadth was fairly balanced, with 12 out of 18 sectors gaining ground, led by the Oil & Gas sector, followed by Insurance, Chemicals… On the other hand, the Industrial Goods & Services sector corrected after its previous rally. Regarding foreign investor trading, foreign investors were net sellers across all three exchanges—HSX, HNX, and UPCOM—today. Capital is primarily rotating among sectors in search of short-term profits; the trend remains unclear. The market is seeking a new equilibrium.
