The Quiet Flowers in the Spring Painting

Amidst the hustle and bustle of the year-end season, the banking industry emerges as an integral part of the abundant spring season.

In the final days of the year, the small town seems to slow down. The weather has stopped alternating between sun and rain, with golden sunshine and gentle breezes visiting, bringing signs of a new season approaching. On familiar streets, decorative lights twinkle, shops get a new look, and the atmosphere of Spring permeates every aspect of life, gently yet distinctly.

The small town where I live, where the gentle Dinh River winds its way around the town, nourishing not only the soil but also the simple lives of generations of people. Early in the morning, when the sun is still shy on the horizon, street vendors are already starting their day. Small traders open their shops and tidy up their stalls for the last market of the year. Out in the fields, farmers take advantage of the cool weather to tend to their crops. People follow one another along familiar roads, carrying the steady rhythm of their daily work.

In this picture, each profession contributes its own color. Some jobs are done in the sun and wind, some are tied to the fields and markets, and some are quietly done behind desks—where life is maintained with care, discipline, and responsibility.

Amidst this rhythm, we at BIDV begin each new day in our own special way. No noise, no fanfare. Behind the familiar glass windows lies meticulousness in every process, focus on every number, and a spirit of responsibility that has been steadfastly maintained over the years.

For the people here, the bank is very close and very real. It is the loan that helps farmers invest in a new crop. It is the capital that helps small traders expand their business in the days leading up to Tet. It is the savings book entrusted with the hope of saving for children's education and long-term plans. These stories quietly unfold every day, intertwined with the lives of each family.

Banking work therefore takes on a unique character: quiet but steadfast. It is a profession that demands precision in every detail, alertness under pressure, and persistence in adhering to professional standards. The results are not always immediately visible, but day by day, bit by bit, this work contributes to keeping the local economy running smoothly.

During the days leading up to Tet, when the streets are bustling with the colors of the festival, the pace of work at BIDV remains as serious as ever. On the desks are piles of files that need to be completed, numbers that are carefully reviewed before closing out the year. The year-end work is busier than usual, but that does not mean rushing. Behind each transaction is a plan that has been entrusted, a trust that must be fully preserved.

Amidst this whirlwind, Tet comes to us in a very special way. It is the sense of relief when important tasks are completed, the ease when the flow of finances runs smoothly on the eve of the new year. Sometimes, it is just a moment of gazing at the streets, brighter after work, to realize that spring is truly just around the corner.

For us, welcoming Tet is not just about closing a busy year, but also a chance to look back on the journey we've taken with quiet pride. Amidst the hectic pace of the final days of the year, we choose to be quietly and persistently present, contributing to maintaining stability for many others. And when spring knocks on the door, the joy is just as simple – welcoming a new season with the peace of mind and steadiness of our chosen profession.

Each spring, when life slows down a little, people have the opportunity to see these enduring values more clearly. Behind the changing face of the small town is the silent contribution of many professions. From manual laborers to intellectual workers, from small traders to foundational industries such as banking – all work together to create a fulfilling spring.

Spring is therefore not only the transformation of the earth and sky, but also the result of a year of hard work. Each person, each profession, like a small flower, quietly embellishes the spring picture to make it more vibrant. And in that picture, the banking profession is present like a subdued color – not flashy, but quietly steadfast, creating a foundation for a peaceful life.

Amidst the peaceful days leading up to Tet in Ba Ria, when the sea breeze carries the breath of spring, people suddenly understand that it is precisely from these simple and silent things that spring can fully blossom—not only on the streets, but also in the faith and peace of mind of each person.

… "I become a singing bird
I become a flower branch
I join the chorus
A deep, stirring note
A small spring
Quietly offered to life"
(Small Spring - Thanh Hải)
