Overview of the event

The event took place at the Community Cultural, Sports, and Learning Center, attracting a large turnout of youth league members, students, and local residents. At the ceremony, representatives from the BIDV Ba Ria Youth League Branch presented 1,000 saplings (totaling 5,000,000 VND) to school youth league branches and student councils. This is not only a practical initiative to create green spaces and beautify the school environment but also carries profound educational value. Through the hands-on experience of planting and caring for young saplings, students cultivate a love for nature, enhance their environmental awareness, and actively embrace a green lifestyle and sustainable development.

A highlight that drew special attention at the event was the “Trash for Green Plants” initiative. Lessons on environmental protection were brought to life through an exciting hands-on experience. Dozens of kilograms of recyclable waste, such as old newspapers, plastic bottles, and aluminum cans, were carefully collected and sorted by children and residents to exchange for small, charming succulent pots and various types of seeds.
