On February 7, 2026, the Spring volunteer journey of BIDV Youth in the Central Highlands region was documented in Bao Lam 3 commune, Lam Dong province.

The projects and gifts brought by the team helped bring the warmth of Spring to this remote highland region, and were even more meaningful as the 2026 Lunar New Year approached.

From a meaningful social welfare program

Bao Lam 3 Commune is located in the western part of Lam Dong Province, about 130km southwest of Da Lat City. Bao Lam 3 was formed from the merger of the administrative units of Loc Thanh Commune and Loc Nam Commune in Bao Lam District, Lam Dong Province. Currently, 85% of the commune's residents make their living from agricultural production, most of whom are K'Ho ethnic people. Although the lives of the people here have improved, there are still many difficulties with 110 poor households and 107 near-poor households.

With contributions from Youth Union organizations in the region and financial support from the BIDV Youth Union, the Youth Union organized the inauguration and handover ceremony for the Children's Playground at Loc Nam A Primary School. The project has contributed to providing children with better conditions for learning and playing.

Along with this, gifts were sent to the students with the hope that they would have the motivation to strive and excel in their studies, and in the future contribute to building a richer and more beautiful homeland.

A journey back to the roots filled with sacred emotions

In keeping with the Vietnamese tradition of remembering one's roots and looking forward to the 95th anniversary of the Youth Union's founding (March 26), the BIDV Youth Union of the Central Highlands made a meaningful trip to the Bao Loc Martyrs' Cemetery, the resting place of more than 700 martyrs who bravely sacrificed themselves for the peace and independence of the nation.

In a solemn and reverent atmosphere, Youth Union officials and members offered incense and flowers, and observed a moment of silence to remember President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap, and the spirits of the heroic martyrs.

These experiences were truly meaningful and deeply moving for the delegation. Each of us felt as if we were reliving a heroic period in our nation's history, further enhancing our pride in the patriotic tradition and the indomitable fighting spirit of previous generations. This further motivates today's youth, including the young people of BIDV, to strive in their work and studies to contribute to building a stronger and more prosperous country – as was the wish of President Ho Chi Minh during his lifetime.

This volunteer journey and return to the red address has come to an end, paving the way for future journeys by the youth of the Central Highlands region in particular and BIDV youth in general. This is also an opportunity for youth organizations in the region to interact, learn from each other, and continue to work together to implement even more meaningful and successful programs in the coming time.
