Today's Stock Market, April 15: Vin Shares Lead the Rally

BASIC MARKET
The VN-Index surged 25 points today and closed at 1,800.65 points, driven by the Vin group of stocks, while the market overall saw subdued trading.

Market breadth leaned toward the negative side, with 14 out of 18 sectors declining, among which the Basic Materials, Media, and Retail sectors fell the most. On the other hand, the Real Estate and Tourism & Entertainment sectors rose by about 5%.

Regarding foreign investors’ trading activity, they net sold approximately 3.5 trillion VND on the HSX and net bought on the HNX and UPCOM exchanges.

A one-sided upward trend like today’s is unlikely to persist; investors should trade cautiously in the coming sessions.

During the trading session on April 15, 2026, most warrants moved in line with the corrective movements of their underlying stocks.

• Net selling value by foreign investors: -3,505.07 billion VND on the HOSE, including VHM (-3,374.98 billion), FPT (-432.20 billion), STB (-87.24 billion), DCM (-70.33 billion), and MWG (-39.59 billion). Foreign investors net bought on the HNX with a value of 31.80 billion VND.
