Today's Stock Market, April 7: Market Tests the 200-Day SMA and 200-Day SMA
The VN-Index is currently testing both the 20-day and 200-day moving averages simultaneously. The next trend is difficult to predict as liquidity continues to decline; investors should trade cautiously until the market establishes a new trend.
BASIC MARKET
After a day of consolidation within the 1,665–1,690 range, the VN-Index closed at 1,677.54 points, up slightly by nearly 3 points from yesterday. Market breadth was fairly balanced, with 8 out of 18 sectors gaining ground, led by the Financial Services sector. On the other hand, the Personal & Household Goods sector saw the sharpest decline.
Regarding foreign investor activity, foreign investors were net sellers on the HSX and net buyers on the HNX and UPCOM.
