Positive developments in the afternoon session aligned with the upward trend in global stocks and continued declines in oil prices.
THE
VN-INDEX today continued to rise by over 43 points, closing at 1,658.19 points.
Market breadth leaned toward the positive side, with 18 out of 18 sectors gaining points, led by the Insurance sector, followed by Chemicals, Oil & Gas, and others.
Regarding foreign investor activity, foreign investors were net sellers on the HSX and net buyers on the other two exchanges today. The market remains in a bottoming-out phase; investors should trade cautiously.
